Rev. David Haley, Pastor
Pastor David was appointed to Central United Methodist Church on September 1, 2007. He has been a Methodist pastor for 33 years. He transferred to the Northern Illinois Conference from the Memphis Conference in 1980. Pastor David has been involved with community volunteer activities. He is married to Michele and is the father of 4 children.
Bob Reid, Parish Administrator
Bob Reid joined the Central office staff in 2008. He has been a member of Central for nearly thirty years. Bob has been married to Debbie for 35 years. He has two sons and an infant grand-daughter. Bob was a sergeant on the Evanston Police Department, retiring in 2002 after 26 years on the force.
Joe Hayes, Custodian
Joe joined the Central staff in 2007. He has had a wealth of experience in building matters, having been in partnership with his brother for many years as a building contractor.
Millete Silverio, Organist
Millete often accompanies soloists in her chosen occupation as a pianist. She impresses each member of the congregation with her wonderful talent. She has worked hard to play the new electronic organ recently installed at Central.
Joe Poprawski, Choir Director
Joe is from the Chicago area and has been a professional singer and conductor since 1987. He has performed in the Chicago Symphony Chorus and has traveled abroad with this world renowned organization.
He has also performed as soloist for area Opera and Chorale repertory organizations. Joe has both his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in the performing arts field from the Chicago Musical College at Roosevelt University, Chicago.
Ellen Mittman, Nursery Worker
Ellen has had a great deal of experience in caring for pre-school children, and has taken several courses in the field at Oakton. She lives in Skokie.
Her responsibilities are caring for pre-school children during worship time.
