Room Usage
Skokie Central United Methodist Church works very hard to maintain and beautify all church buildings and landscapes. We believe the appearance of our buildings and spaces reflects our pride in our Church, our neighborhood, our commitment to the congregation, and the Church’s well-being.
Many members take advantage of the buildings for events of all kinds. Popular spaces include the Log
Cabin, Fellowship Hall, and the recently updated rooms on the lower level of the Education Building. In addition, neighbors and friends also use our buildings. We have wonderful long-term partners sharing our spaces, including Jesus-Love UMC, St. James Philippine Independent Church, Grace Assyrian Church, Heineman Piano Studio, The Concert Opera of Greater Chicago studio, and the Homeschooling Gifted Students' Group.

The table below details Skokie Central UMC's building usage fees. Please note that fees differ for members and non-members.
Effective November 2021.
Down Payment Non-refundable -- $100 Required for one-time events
Security Deposit Required and Refundable -- $250
Set/Strike Fee Required for Log Cabin -- $50-200 (fee varies based on set-up and takedown)
