Skokie Central United Methodist Church has many interests and talents in connecting and helping within the church and our community.  The congregation and friends of the church provide meals, warm clothing, school supplies, festivities, and small group discussions.

Care Guild
Supports members and the community with meals and services.

Mini-Food Pantry
Our church is one of the first to have a Mini-Food Pantry in the Niles Township area.  The Mini Pantry is a great success, and we are having to fill the pantry several times during the week. This is an ongoing mission, so please keep on bringing non-perishable items to the church office on Wednesdays between 9:30 am and 4 pm and on Friday mornings between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.  If everyone could bring just two items a week, it would keep the Pantry filled.
Pancake Breakfast
Hosted by Boy Scout 72 – great fellowship and the best breakfast deal in town!
Currently On Hold Due to Covid-19

Plant Sales
Annual spring fundraiser

Prayer Shawl Mission Guild
The Prayer Shawl Mission Guild is a circle of gifted and talented creators.  Their primary mission is to create prayer shawls and give them to people who are healing and people in nursing homes.  They also knit socks, adorable hats, and mittens.  Some of us also quilt and give them as gifts.
